Stacked DJ lineup at Black Sheep Inn this Saturday + contest details
If there’s one thing that The Black Sheep Inn is really good at, it’s throwing a hell of a party. Well, this Saturday will be no exception as some of Ottawa’s premier DJs in the scene get set to man the decks and create absolute chaos. The DJs include:
- DJ Acro (residency at The Standard Tavern) and
- DJ Shub (of A Tribe Called Red, two-time Canadian DMC champion, Red Bull Thre3style Canada champion) on four tables, with special guests
- Gary Franks (of Roberta Bondar, CEREMONY),
- Adam Saikaley (Silkken Laumann, Hilotrons, CEREMONY), and
- Matt Tamblyn (Open Air Social Club).
You may have seen some, or all, of these DJs do their own thing at one point or another. They are all heavily involved in their own projects, each of which is deserving of high praise in their own right. But collectively, they make up the heart of Ottawa’s soulful dance and nightlife culture. Time after time they give people a reason to forget their workweek and let loose late into the wee hours of the morning. All that to say it’s a stacked bill and the price is right. Very right.
Apt613 will be running a contest tomorrow (Thursday) for a really incredible prize pack. There will be a trivia question and a prize of a one night stay for the night of Jan.18th at Mon Petit Chum Bed & Breakfast, which is only an eight minute stumble from the Black Sheep, as well as two tickets to the show.
